When I use the 12 volt voltage regulator do I need to change my coil and will my starter spin faster?
	The coils can take 12 volts, The only thing that you should be aware of is when you go to start the car and let one of the coils buzz before hitting the starter or using the hand crank the coil that is left buzzing will heat up faster then if it was 6 volts. Once the engine is running it isn’t a problem. Just when the coil is left in the continuous buzzing before the engine is spinning. The starter will spin up quicker. The starter can take the 12 volts but because it spins up quicker it also throws the bendix into the ring gear harder so you will ware out or break the bendix quicker.
