SCAT STROKER Crankshaft, Counterbalanced, Increased Stroke NEW DESIGN, Drilled for pressurized oil
Scat STROKER counterbalanced crankshaft provides increased power. Increases the horse power of each stroke of the engine by increasing the length of stroke to 4.25” with 1.4985” rod journals and 1.590” main journals. Made of forged 4340 steel for grain flow direction which provides added strength and allows the crank to withstand higher torsional twist. Fully counterbalanced which cancels out much of the engine vibration and dampens the rest. Machined and heat treated. U.S.A.
This new design SCAT STROKER CRANKSHAFT now uses stock Model T pistons and rings.
It is DRILLED with straight shot oiling holes for pressurized oil and requires an oil pump and internal piping to be added to the car. A Volkswagen oil pump adapter, VWS1, (sold separately), will allow you to use a VW oil pump being driven off the end of the cam shaft.
Scat Stroker crankshafts must be used with H-beam connecting rods 3024CBT and heavy-duty crankshaft main bearing caps, 3031STROKER.
It requires an added spacer 3102SP or deep sump oil pan T4DP-2, to allow clearance by the oil pan inspection cover
