USED Cylinder head high style combustion chamber but can be used all years, Ford script (orig. on 1918-25) bead blasted

NOTE: Low heads are 2” tall and high heads are 2-11/16” tall, from the head gasket surface to under the head of the head bolt.

What order and torque do you tighten head bolts?
 

You tighten these head bolts starting from the center  bolt alternating sides until you reach the ends. The torque depends on what type of head you have.

  • Original Steel Head - 50-55 lbs.

  • Aluminum Reproduction Head 45 lbs.
