Additional Information

This is an original style, heavy duty inner tube for wood wheels only.
Bias ply with a center brass valve stem, Stem width .5”, Stem height 3”
Does not include the mounting hardware.
To protect your tube from chaffing, pinching and mounting tools we highly recommend you always use a rim flap, part# RF1, not included.

NOTE: We also sell complete tube and hardware sets

  • DC1 - Brass dust cover

Questions and Answers
I installed new metal stem tubes on my 1915 Model T Ford. I did not put in liners? Do yo need them? My front tires have flattened and the stems have torn out of the new tubes? Maybe I didn't install correctly? I need to know the proper way ti install new tubes and not have the stems tear out.
 

The flaps will not cause the steam to get torn out of the tube. Most commonly that is caused by under inflation of the tube. You need to put in 55 psi to 60 psi into the clincher style tubes. The flaps are used to protect the tube from the inside of the rim and installation.
