How do I take the headlight apart?
 

The lens twists off. The 4 rivets that you can see one the outside edge of the headlight fits into slots on the bucket. You have to push the rim in alittle and then twist counterclockwise to get it off.

What color is the lens? I had an original that shatter and it was light purple.
 These are a clear glass, The originals were also clear to begin with but over time some of them have turned light purple because of curtain minerals in the glass.

Why 1922 -1927 ? Why not 1915 to 1927? Just curious, I used your site to identify a fragment we recovered at an archaeological site. Thanks
   Hello, There H style lens was original for 1922-27 but could be used on all years. The earlier ones where plain glass and then there where a few different styles untill 1922.
