Could you provide a link to a pdf of the installation instructions? It's not clear to me how this is installed.
 FAQ ImageHere is a photo of it on a motor. The pedal shaft pulls out from cover as you push it down. Its the pulling out of shaft towards the driver side of the car that activates the switch.
