Aluminum pistons, .040 oversize. Same style as original cast iron pistons, however the lighter weight reduces wear and tear on your engine. Complete with fitted wrist pins. Sold in sets of four. HELPFUL HINT: When installing aluminum pistons the slot faces away from the camshaft. (Use with piston rings, Part# 3023A.040)

What does mean oversize, how can I check what kind of oversize I need?
 

Over time the pistons will wear out the block of the motor and to correct it you take oversized pistons and have a engine shop mechine the block to the pistons so that you have the corrct clearence that you would need. Standard size is 3.750"

What clearance should these pistons have?
 Most people set up for a clearance of .004-.005 of an inch.
