Is this rubber an original part for a 1915 touring car? Did the cars come from the factory with this rubber in between the windshield halve?
 

The 1915 cars did have a rubber between the windshield half. This rubber is close to original, The originals had a different shape to them at the ends that fit around the end caps of the windshield.
