Like our other coil units these coil units are manufactured using reclaimed and tested original Ford coil windings and metal tops. All other parts are new, including; outer wood box,"orange drop" capacitor, 12-32 brass hardware, phosphor bronze adjuster spring, brass spacers, brass side contacts, hard fiber top surface insulator, correct thumb nut adjuster/w lock nut, and KW point assembly.

Made to original Ford factory drawing dimensions from Hard Maple as specified by Ford These units are filled COMPLETELY with high flash point tar to prevent moisture problems. They are then precisely adjusted for "single spark" and correct operating current using our own "Strobo-Spark" precision coil tester. With hundreds of satisfied customers using them, they not only look great - they run great too.

Do I have to send the old coils first or can I do a order and send the core later for a refund?

Other than price, what is the difference between this coil and more expensive Kingston coil?
