Leather hood corner pads with rivets.

These pads were not originally used until 1926 however they are a good addition to cars to help prevent scratches when opening and closing the hood.

How come you only need 1 pair of rubber corners for the 2 piece hood?
 Originally the hood corners were only used on the two front corners of the hood. You certainly can (and a lot of people do) buy two pair and use them on the front and back corners.
