Additional Information

This gear advances your timing to increase low end torque giving you more power when at low RMPs. Comes with special cam gear nut.
This is a quieter running gear with excellent vibration resistance. Gear is made of nylon plastics that are used in modern transmissions and many other heavy duty industrial applications.
Light weight, requires little lubrication. High impact resistant material, withstands extreme heat without distortion.

Were original model T camshaft timing gears made of metal, or were they composition material like those for Model As?
 

The originals where cast steel.

Can you tell me if I set the timing the same with this new 7.5 deg. timing gear? Thanks
 I like to set the timing with a degree wheel. Some other people set it using piston position and then some just do the clearance between the valve and the lifter.
The valve and lifter method will still work the same. but is the least favorable method. The piston position will not work unless you figure out what the new measurment should be. The degree wheel method will work, all you have to do is open and close all the valves the 7.5 degrees earlier.
