What was the original color of the sediment bulb housing made of cast iron. I found traces of black and traces of red paint on the housing. Thanks for your help. Serge, The Netherlands
 The original color can vary depending on the year of the car. The only year red would be on the sediment bulb would be a 1909, otherwise it would be black paint or natural. Thank you for the question!
